Who is David Schlotterback?

Hello! My name is David Schlotterback and I am a learning experience designer with the ability to leverage my diverse creative background to craft engaging eLearning experiences. As a multidisciplinary eLearning professional, I blend my expertise in graphic arts, web development, and animation with a deep knowledge of learning theories and eLearning authoring tools to create innovative, engaging online training solutions that help organizations effectively develop their workforce’s skills and capabilities.

 I graduated from Emporia State University (ESU) in Emporia, Kansas with a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology in 2025 and a Bachelor of Science in Education degree with a dual major in Art Education and History Education in 1999. I have a long history in the education field be it in the classroom or working for educational organizations that influence or assist the classroom. Currently, I am contracted as an eLearning developer by the Nebraska Department of Education to assist in the creation of various training modules for educators throughout the state of Nebraska.

 My educational journey at Emporia State University has equipped me with a unique blend of skills in both traditional education and cutting-edge instructional technology. My experience spans from classroom instruction to the development of state-level educational resources, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the educational landscape.
